No Longer On The Run

By Lorraine Fell

The story of a Ukrainian immigrant and his days as a spy for the Soviet Union. Andy Klischenko's father disappeared into the night in one of Stalin's purges; during the Second World War Andy spied for the Soviet Secret Service against the Germans, choosing the lesser of two evils. He spent several years in a German labour camp, then emigrated to Canada. Fearful of recriminations against his family, he still did not reveal to his mother that he was alive. Then one day he received an official invitation from the Ukraine to be recognized for his wartime exploits...

Andy Klischenko died on Jan. 2, 2015. A tribute from author Lorraine Fell can be found HERE
